Tea length circle skirt dress pattern

I was really impressed by this design in the Marchesa Notte Spring 2016 collection. This dress is made of luxurious lace, featuring a voluminous tea length circle skirt, a fitted bodice and 3/4 sleeves - sweet and graceful for those who don't want to show off too much skin. It can make you the center of attention in a formal event.

Of course, the dress can be simplified by using less luxurious-looking materials if you don't want to stand out too much, or just don't have the resources to make one exactly the same as the original design - I know this kind of lace must cost you a lot! I think even when you simplify the dress, it will still be able to turn heads.

The pattern is designed based on the idea of the dress. If you want to show off the volume of the skirt, you will need the help of a petticoat. But even when you don't have one, the dress will still be impressive (and to my opinion, more suitable for real life!)

Again, the pattern comes with sizes - regular and petite sizes You can check for your size in the size chart here: The Little Sewist Size Chart

The links for free download of the Marchesa Notte inspired tea length circle skirt dress are shown at the end of the post. Again, I made the pattern in A4 paper, just print it out at 100%/non scaling/actual size as usual. The rest will be cut and tape, and cut (again). It will take a lot of patience!

Hope you will enjoy making it and create a wonderful piece for yourself! Please share with me your project. I would love to see how yours turn out to be.

  1. Should this be 70 pages when going to print it? Thank you for this, by the way.

  2. Would you be able to post instructions for how to sew this dress?
