The patterns on this blog are created with two types of sizes: regular sizes and petite sizes. Regular sizes are made for women of average 170 cm/5.5 ft, and petite sizes are made for women of average 158 cm/5.0 ft.
This is the size chart for the patterns on my blog, choose the right size and start sewing!
Enjoy!

Hello! Can you help me?
ReplyDeleteI'm shorter than you( just 152cmm).What should I do to use your patterns?
Thanks!
Hi, you can use the pattern for petite sizes directly, because the petite sizes are made for women who are under 158cm tall.
DeleteI want to make the XXL size. I am actually 117cm (46 inches) at my hip measurement. You have listed 112cm (44 inches) for xxL so I thought I could make it work. However when I printed the XXL pattern it says on the pattern that the hip measurement was only 109cm (43 inches). What would you suggest I do?
DeleteHi, what design did you choose to print out? If it has a flared skirt then don't worry, just use the given number. If it has a fitted skirt, you can add 1-2cm at the widest part of the skirt (usually marked with a notch). Usually the dresses are made with 7cm ease at the hip, plus the stretch of the fabric you use, it won't be too much of a problem.
DeleteDress patterns posted before 2019 were made using a free online tool (Sewist.com) where users input a set of existing mesurements and get the pattern (with a bit of difference in measurements like the pattern you printed), but now the service is no longer free, I cannot alter them for you now. But for patterns made since 2019, you can give me the link and I will send you the altered ones.
Thanks for your response. I printed the simple shift with the slit neck. I didn't want to go to all the work of taping it together if it would be too small to work with. Are your patterns designed for knit fabric? I was hoping to use a woven.
DeleteHi, I 'd like to sew the Lana Flared midi-skirt, so in love with this pattern! If I look at the size chart, I should fit in size XXL, but only my waist is 93 cm instead of 85 :-( How can I solve this problem? (except for going on a diet) :-)
