Half sleeve bateau neckline box-pleated dress pattern

Do you love the outfits of Kate Middleton? I do. 

I am a fan of the royals' style, which is so modest and elegant. After a long time of observing their styles, I found out that they often opt for simple silhouette such as sheath dress, A-line or fit and flare dress. Kate is one of my most favorite style icon, and I find her looking so beautiful in the fit and flare dresses for no less than ten times.

Today I share with you the pattern for one of the most chosen style by Kate Middleton - the half sleeve bateau neckline box-pleated dress.

Kate has worn this style for many times, in many events, and she glowed in each of them. The dresses are mostly below the knee long, some are shorter but not above the knee, which ensures the royal to look modest always.

This pattern features an elegant bateau neckline, which helps show off your beautiful collar bone, a  fit and flare silhouette and below-the-knee length to flatter any body shape. The half sleeves help cover the flaws at your arms (if any) and give the dress a formal look. You can make this dress with many fabrics and finishes, for example: lace for a romantic date, cady for work and satin for an evening party.

This fit and flare dress is undeniable one of the must-haves in your closet - and will be your favorite one! I have many of this in the wardrobe and can't stop sewing more, even when I do not have any occasion to wear it to.
