Briefs pattern

I am sharing this for those who would love to sew their own undergarments. This is the pattern for the classic briefs, high cut briefs, control briefs and low waist briefs – you can choose to sew whichever one you love to!

The briefs are really easy to sew – if you are familiar with sewing stretch fabrics. You just need to remember some points:

- Prewash the fabric before you sew: stretch fabrics often shrink after the first wash, and you don’t want to wear briefs smaller than your size.

- Use a ballpoint needle to sew the briefs to prevent having skipped stiches.

- Use small seam allowances to avoid bulks in your undergarments.

- Use short and narrow zig zag stich to sew the briefs – it will make the undergarments stronger and stretch better.

- Do not stretch the fabric when you sew to avoid skewing the garment.

Below is the link for the briefs. I made them in 3 sizes S (for those whose hips is about 90cm), M (for hips of 100cm) and L (for hips of 110cm). Hope you enjoy sewing these little babies!
